Through their journey at Temple Christian College students will participate in a number of organised camps and excursions. Parents will receive comprehensive information prior to each of these event from the teachers involved and often copies of this information will be published online. The Student Planner contains an annual consent form which will be signed at the start of each New Year to cover the majority of excursions scheduled.
Camps are a very important part of the Temple Christian College life and are conducted by a professional company with experienced Outdoor Ed Leaders who work with both the staff and students to ensure maximum learning and protection at all times.
All Temple Christian College Year Level camps are age and stage of life appropriate with a wide range of activities and experiences on offer.
Dates for 2026 are as follows:
Year 7 Camp is held Wednesday 25 February to Friday 27 February
Year 8 Camp is held Tuesday 18 August to Friday 21 August
Year 9 The Rite Journey Outdoor Education Camp is held Monday 21September to Friday 25 September
Year 10 Camp is held Monday 16 February to Wednesday 18 February
Year 11 Retreat is held Thursday 19 February to Friday 20 February
Year 12 Camp is held Wednesday 28 January to Friday 30 January

MILE END CAMPUS YEAR 7 CAMP
2027 Camp - Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures
The Year 7’s will experience a 3-day outdoor learning experience in and around Normanville.
The program is designed to utilise the features of the unique natural environment to present students with some challenging, exciting and worthwhile learning experiences in the outdoors, including surfing, rock pooling, snorkelling, fishing and beach games.
Camp Dates: Term 1 - Week 5, Wednesday 24 February to Friday 26 February 2027
Departure Time: Student need to be at the school and ready by 7am on Wedneday 24 February
Return Time: Students will return to the school by 2:00 pm for collection by parent/caregivers on Friday 26 February
Registration Date: The official Wildersness Escape Registration Form for the camp must be completed by Wednesday 3 February 2027.
The Year 7 students will be given further details in their Care Group about what to bring and what to pack at the start of 2027.
