Life at Temple Christian College offers students an extensive selection of sporting opportunities throughout the school year outside of the official Physical Education Curriculum. Through both internal and external carnivals and sporting competitions, students have the ability to develop and maintain their personal fitness and wellbeing while enjoying the benefits of team sports.
Inter House In School Carnivals
Temple conducts three Open Inter House Carnivals throughout the school year which encourages all students to participate and support their team house.
Each student has been placed in one of the four houses; North (red), South (blue), East (green) or West (orange). Students participate in the events offered on the day with winning points being associated to the appropriate house colour. Ribbons are presented to the top 3 student places for each age group in each event. Medallions are awarded to the students who become age champion by scoring the most points within an age group, and a perpetual shield will be presented to the winning house.
Students will also be selected to represent the school at various SACSA and SSSSA Inter School competitions throughout Term 1 and 2 from the results obtained at these Inter House carnivals. Students who would like to have the opportunity to represent the school must participate in their selected events in each carnival.
Building community is very important at Temple Christian College and we encourage all parents who are free on these dates to come and enjoy the day of competition and community.

The first of an exciting new Temple Christian College annual event, the Cross-Campus Cup was introduced during Week 7 of Term 2 during 2020 at our Paralowie campus. Aimed to encourage community and team work within the individual sporting teams and to initiate relationship and friendly rivalry between students across campuses, this sporting activity enables one senior female squad and one male senior squad from the Mile End and Paralowie Campus to compete in three rounds of sport; Netball, Volleyball and Touch Football.
Congratulations to all the participants in the ‘Annual Cross Campus Cup 2020’ with a special acknowledgement to the Temple Christian College Mile End Senior Male and Female squads who placed 1st against Paralowie.
